The "I AM FESTIVAL 2008" is New London's only national-scale indie music festival and was the premiere indie music festival in Connecticut in 2006 and 2007. It was such a big success that New London had to do it again! For all of those of you that didn't make it to the epic first event, the festival took place on Downtown New London's gorgeous Waterfront Parks on September 22nd, 2007. What's the best part? It was FREE! Completely and totally FREE! Freedom isn't even free anymore.

I AM FESTIVAL is a collaboration between New London Music Festival - a nonprofit headed by Rich Martin, Barbara Neff - the Waterfront Park Coordinator and the brains behind Sailfest, Sean Murray - a promoter that formerly went by the moniker "Blackmajik" only to be called "Blackmajik: The Gathering" countless times and internet marketing of Sam Lopaze and DowntownNewLondon.com.
